As the saying goes “It takes a Village …..”

The founders of Atwater Village Events are Shelli-Anne Couch and Courtney Morris, both Congressional “Woman of the Year” recipients for their dedication to public service, awarded in 2022 (Courtney) and 2014 (Shelli-Anne) They also are both Board of Governors Alumni of the Atwater Village Neighborhood Council, where Courtney was Co-Chair for six years while Shelli-Anne founded the Education Committee.

Together with a merry band of volunteers, they fundraise and produce the flagship Atwater Village Tree Lighting Festival each year, along with supporting a calendar of other Local Business Outreach events in the neighborhood.
